Pouchette

A product site built on one idea: every line has a source.

Role Website design and development.

Pouchette is a Mac app that records meetings on the computer and writes notes where every line links back to the moment it was said. The site had to make that idea clear in seconds, back up its privacy claims, and lead to one action: download.

01

One idea, taken from the product

Pouchette's difference is that its notes cite their sources. The site turns that into a single stitched thread: on the opening screen it runs from a line of notes to the moment it was said, the recording seeks to it and the sentence plays back. The same thread returns, small, in every section.

Pouchette's live capture window recreated in code: topics on the left, live notes with a citation on every point, and the transcript on the right, with a stitched thread from a new note to the line it came from

02

Private, and able to prove it

The privacy section states every data flow in one place, and each claim carries a small source marker, like the app's own notes. Opening one shows the exact sentence from the site's privacy, consent or verification page, with a link to it.

Real materials, in both themes

The app's icon is a stitched leather pouch, so the site borrows its materials: paper for the page, stitching for the thread, and leather for the closing call, where a note tucks into the pouch. Dark mode is designed too, lit by a single warm lamp.
